Gala Celebration for Bosch-Siemens Haushaltsgeräte in Palais Ferstel:
At the request of our internationally active client New Dimensions Berlin, we created a varied artistic program to frame the celebration held for the top clients and management of Bosch-Siemens Haushaltsgeräte. The program included a tasteful reception in the arcades by the Herald Trumpets in renaissance costumes and the mood-setting music of the trio of the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna in historically accurate biedermeier costumes. Our Master of Ceremonies in his elegant Mozart costume ushered the guests through the evening.

Ball of the Viennese plumbers in the Grand Hotel Vienna…
On the occasion of the 250 th birthday of the genius of the century, W.A. Mozart on 27 January 2006, the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency presented the MOZART SHOW – The Magic of Amadeus, a 25 minute, first-rate program as artistic Highlight around midnight. The Rococo Ensemble in the instrumental combination of piano, violin, clarinet and cello, provided for the able musical accompaniment.

For the eight’s time in a row, the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency was responsible for the musical program of the, in the meantime famous, Viennese Regenbogenball in the Park Hotel Schönbrunn. The illustrious gaggle of ball guests was once again swept away by both the lilting waltzes of the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss as well as the international top hits of the Band A-Live. The diversified program was rounded out with two special Show-Highlights, one at the beginning and the other one around midnight, both especially designed on the occasion of the 250 th birthday of the genius of the century, W.A. Mozart on 27 January 2006 .

Pharmaceutical Gala in the Remise –
MOZART SHOW 2006 as Highlight:
For our internationally active client MCI of Geneva, we designed the musical highlight for a large gala held for approx. 1000 international doctors in the Remise in Vienna’s 2 nd district. In this former tram shed, adapted for such festive occasions by the Hotel Intercontinental, we presented our oft requested, 25-minute program MOZART SHOW 2006 – The Magic of Amadeus to the pleased guests. Our Papageno, Peter Thunhart won the particular favor of the audience; he took to the stage wearing an authentic feathered costume with pan flute and birdcage much to the delight and amazement of the guests.

For the Second Time the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna at the Vienna Ball in Athens:
Thanks to the success of the Vienna Ball on March 5, 2005, the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna was once again charged with the musical design of the Vienna Ball in 2006. Every year, the event which arose through a co-operative effort between AUA and the Public Relations Office of the City of Vienna, is counted among the social highpoints in the Olympic City and all Greece – notables at this year’s ball - the current President of Greece Karolos Papoulias, the Greek Minister of Defense, as well as his Austrian counterpart Guenther Platter in the accompaniment of the Austrian Ambassador - accepted the invitation and enjoyed an evening of the lively waltz strains of Vienna.
The Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna presented an effective and entertaining musical program - the head of the largest dancing school in Vienna, Dancing Master Wolfgang Stanek, long-standing traveling companion of the Vienna Ball on all continents - provided, as usual, a successful staging of the beloved, traditional ball opening and midnight Quadrille.
The Greek presenter has already requested the participation of the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna for the next Vienna Ball in 2007.

Viennese Ladies Orchestra “Tempo di Valse” at the 1 st Vienna Yachting Ball:
The Park Hotel Schönbrunn offered a traditional setting for the premiere of the 1 st Vienna Yachting Ball. An elite circle of enthusiastic sailors and proud yacht owners convened wearing elegant tuxedos and tails instead of the usual sailor suits. True to the theme of the evening the cry was “Alles Welle” instead of “Alles Walzer” - “All hands on deck” instead of “Let the waltzing begin”. The Viennese Ladies Orchestra “Tempo di Valse” steered the ship ably on its musical course through the night and is looking forward to being invited on board again next year.

Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna Stages the First Opera Ball in Bucharest…
A week after its success in Athens, the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna traveled to a European ball premiere – the first Opera Ball at the National Opera in Bucharest was an excellent opportunity to present the musical ball tradition of Vienna to the exclusive audience in the Romanian capitol city. The internationally active presenter Irina Budrina saw to the ensemble’s excellent accommodations in the first-class Crown Plaza Hotel, also a sponsor of the ball. The stage and audience of the opera house were adapted in the style of the Vienna Opera Ball and offered a very elegant background for an audience of enthusiastic dancers.
Among the guests enjoying the Viennese waltzes played by the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna were several Austrian notables: Andreas Rudas, the General Secretary of the SPÖ for many years and currently top manager of the WAZ, half-owner of the Krone; Dr. Boris Schneider, Austrian general manager of the Romanian Insurance Company ASIROM, one of the sponsors of the Ball and the owner of the Hirter brewery.

Premiere for the „High Finance Ball“ in Palais Ferstel...
At the request of our client Admicos we designed the artistic program for this ball premiere held for the financial sector in the noble Palais Ferstel in Vienna. In the Banquet room, the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss and Band Lou took turns entertaining the international top managers, our All-round Artist was in the Café Central and the DJ was in the arcades. The presenter’s team was comprised of the Palais Events Veranstaltungen GmbH which guaranteed an exquisite gala dinner and the elegant decoration of the palace, Format magazine and Blaguss – one of Austria’s largest travel agencies - and the finance experts Anglo Irish Bank and Henderson Global Investors.
The waltzes of the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss and the international hits of Band Lou with vocalist Ursula Gerstbach were valued highly by the finance experts. Wolfgand Stanek, described as the handsomest dancing master in Vienna by many women, aroused enthusiasm with his vivacious presentation of the audience’s quadrille at midnight. Many are anxious to see if this incontestably successful event will be reissued in 2007.

Large Gala for Honda Mexico in Palais Ferstel…
Honda Mexico extended invitations to a large gala dinner in the exclusive Palais Ferstel. At the request of our customer „Profesionales en Convenciones“ we offered the 170 overseas guests a perfectly harmonized evening with a musical program ranging from the sounds of Mozart to samba. During cocktails, the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna in its new biedermeier costumes entertained the guests with Viennese waltzes in the glass covered courtyard and subsequently accompanied the singers in the MOZART-SHOW 2006 „the Magic of Amadeus”. The young, first-class ensemble „Jazzetage“ provided the dinner music in the Banquet room. At the same time, both of our Show Artists presented a sensational program with pantomimic, juggling and refreshing comedy. To round off the gala dinner, the Tropical Latin Band and it’s Show dancers in its colorful costumes offered its lively rhythms to the dance-loving Mexican guests.

ECOFIN-Meeting – Huge gala in the imperial ambience of Schloss Schoenbrunn:
On the occasion of the ECOFIN-Meeting, a three days lasting Congress Karl-Heinz Grasser, the Austrian minister of finance invited all european ministers of finance and economy to enjoy with him a festive gala-night in the famous golden hall of Schoenbrunn palace. The Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss under the reliable musical direction of Ruth Müller provided the effective musical framework for the second part of the evening. At the request of the Austrian Minister of Finance and to the delight of the high-ranking guests, such Strauss highlights as the Emperor Waltz and the Radetzky March were heard. There was long applause for the ladies orchestra at the end of this impressing evening.

Splendid Re-opening of the Stift Klosterneuburg:
The festive re-opening of the Stift Klosterneuburg after a thorough and thoroughly successful renovation was the welcome occasion for a large celebration on the grounds of what is certainly one of Austria’s most important abbeys. Provost Prelate Bernhard Backovsky, in charge of the Augustinian Canons’ monastery since 1995 and elected Abbot General of the Austrian Congregation of the Canons Regular of St. Augustine in 2002, invited some 700 guests to Klosterneuburg, among them Landeshauptmann Erwin Pröll and Finanzlandesrat Mag. Wolfgang Sobotka. The Herald Trumpets from the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency provided an impressive welcome for the illustrious guests. The celebration was moderated by culture grande dame of the ORF Barbara Rett and members of the Vienna Philharmonic supplied the musical framework.

Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna at the Museum for Technics:
Thanks to our successful artistic concept for the VIP gala dinner on May 2, 2004 in the Vienna Stock Exchange and on May 1, 2005 at the Albertina, ISIS Marketing Service GmbH entrusted us again this year with the program concept for a special gala evening on May 7, 2006. The stylish ambience of the Museum of Technics offered the ideal framework for the appearance of Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna's quartet in its new Biedermeier costumes. Within the framework of a classical Viennese concert, the ensemble presented selected works of master composers W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Johann Strauss, jr. & Jacques Offenbach.

For the international wine brotherhood „Lega del Chianti“ we designed the musical highlight for a large gala for approx. 200 guests in the Festsaal of Palais Ferstel. Huge Mozart Gala in the Kursalon Vienna:
At the request of our internationally active client Creative Spirits we created a large Mozart gala within the framework of a congress of the „ Compagnie Générale de Géophysique„. The approximately 400 guests from France experienced the appearance of a Young Mozart and an adult Mozart at the piano and as high point we once again presented our 25-minute MOZART SHOW 2006 – The Magic of Amadeus. At the conclusion of the successful gala there were standing ovations for the artists and a pleased and satisfied presenter.

Exclusive Gala Dinner for Japanese Top Managers in the Palais Pallavicini:
The Palais Pallavicini offered the traditional framework for a special gala dinner for some 80 Japanese upper-echelon managers. On the program was a series of artistic highlights from Vienna: after the guests’ arrival in hansom cabs, a musical welcome by the Herald Trumpets in the foyer followed by a reception by Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth known as Sisi. After the cocktails, the Vienna Choirboys „served up“ a 30- minute potpourri ranging from Mozart to folks music. The Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss offered a concert of works of the Strauss dynasty after the main course and finally, the Dance Formation “Viennese Waltz” aroused the enthusiasm of the guests with a waltz show. At the end of the evening, their hearts still beating in 3/4 time, the Japanese managers took leave of their host.

Roche Diagnostics-Summer Festival with the MOZART SHOW 2006 in the Palais Auersperg:
Roche-Diagnostics, a global player in the pharmaceutical industry, invited selected clients and partners from Germany and Austria to a summer celebration in Palais Auersperg in Vienna. Antz Art, our client and partner in Germany, designed the accompanying program for this special evening and invited a series of interesting artists from Germany to participate. As classical highlight of the evening Antz Art presented our MOZART SHOW 2006 – The Magic of Amadeus. Romantic Harp Sonorities and the Herald Trumpets also contributed to the great success of the evening.

Viennese Operetta Gala in the Stadttheater Rüsselsheim with the Viennese Ladies Orchestra „Tempo di Valse“
The concert management agency Zagovec extended invitations to one of the high points of the summer season 2006. Following its great success in January 2001 the Viennese Ladies Orchestra “Tempo di Valse” was invited this year together with the two soloists Elke Kottmair, soprano & Michael Heim, tenor – both members of the Staatsoperette Dresden – to design the evening’s musical program. The popular German moderator Barbara Kreuzer provided the accompanying remarks. That the audience and music critics received the concert positively is evidenced by the review in the „Rüsselsheimer Echos“ from August 14,2006…

Premiere For the Imperial Gala 2006 in Linz:
The city of Linz was looking forward to the premiere of an exclusive, top-notch summer event. On the occasion of the 176th anniversary of the birth of his Majesty Emperor Franz Joseph the „Verein Kaisergala 2006„ under the direction of their principal chairman Oberst Josef Hartl staged a large celebration in the “Käufmännischen Vereinshaus” in Linz. At the recommendation of the artistic director, Prof. Rik Benedik, the Viennese Ladies Orchestra “Tempo di Valse” was selected along with the orchestra of the police music Linz to provide the musical accompaniment to the Imperial gala 2006. The illustrious gaggle of ball guests, among them were several notables from Upper Austria like the governor Dr. Josef Pühringer was once again swept away by the lilting Strauss waltzes of the Viennese ladies orchestra under the reliable musical direction of Ruth Müller. The principal chairman Oberst Josef Hartl has already requested the participation of the Viennese Ladies Orchestra “Tempo di Valse” for the next Imperial Gala on 24th of August 2007.

Mein Nestroy: Debut Performance und Season Begin in the “Theater in der Josefstadt” – a Celebrated Premiere:
Right from the first premiere, the new director of the Theater in der Josefstadt Herbert Föttinger was setting the course for the Austrian theater scene. At his initiative, Peter Turrini has composed a play about Johann Nepomuk Nestroy who will be played by Karl Markovics. Appearing in the main roles under Föttinger’s direction are Sandra Cervic and Martin Zauner as Marie Weiler, Nestroy’s partner and Wenzel Scholz, respectively. Michael Rüggeberg has composed the music for the play and the musical direction is in Bernhard van Ham’s capable hands.

Gala dinner with Operetta Show in the Austrian National Library:
Exclusive dinner for General Electric, one of the world’s largest companies within the framework of a Congress in Vienna: Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss in its elegant, true-to-the-original Biedermeier costumes pampered the guests of our client Panorama Tours for a whole evening with exquisite dinner music. In the Camineum of the Austrian National Library the four ladies, as attractive artistic contrast to the literary ambience of the venue, offered a diversified program with melodies of W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Franz Lehar & the Strauss dynasty. Our english speaking Master of Ceremonies escorted the 250 international guests through the whole dinner in a very elegant manner – as an artistic highlight of the evening he announced our Operetta Show: a first-rate 25-minute program with the best-loved hits of Johann Strauss, Franz Lehar, Emmerich Kalman and Robert Stolz staged with verve, garnished with many witty gags. Swinging Premiere of Helge Thoma’s “Mich hätten Sie sehen sollen” in Vienna’s Kammerspielen:
With the premiere on Sept.21, 2006 of Helge Thoma’s “Mich hätten Sie sehen sollen” (“You should have seen me”), Vienna’s Kammerspiele prepared one of the first artistic high points under the new artistic director Herbert Föttinger. The work, which played to full audiences in the Akademietheater in the 1970’s, is expected to be a highlight of the 2006/2007 season and, owing to its star cast, will most certainly be a box office hit.
The music flowed from the pen of Michael Kienzl who in the last decade has been responsible for the music in several theater productions in the Theater in der Josefstadt, the Wiener Volkstheater, and in Festival Gutenstein. The organizational supervision of the musicians for this production has been entrusted to the reliable services of the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency. Moreover, the Concert Agency Wolfgang Trojan has concluded a co-operative agreement with the theater as sponsor.

53rd Austrian Towns and Municipalities Day in Vienna:
Under the chairmanship of Dr. Robert Hink, General Secretary and Mayor Helmut Mödlhammer, President, this year’s convention of the Austrian Association of Towns and Municipalities took place from Sept. 21-22, 2006 in the meeting rooms of the Reed Messe Wien in Vienna’s Prater. „Ensure work, live the future, strengthen communities“ was the motto of this two-day event which is hosted by a different province every year. At our client’s request we designed the musical program for the official opening on Sept. 21, 2006. The Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss presented a very successful concert with works of the Strauss dynasty.

Celebration with Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Sissi at the Vienna Hofburg:
For our internationally active client e+o meeting, we designed the opening part of an exclusive gala evening in the Vienna Hofburg. On the magnificent stairways the Herald Trumpets insured an effective musical welcome for the guests upon their arrival. Afterwards the 400 italian guests were surprised by the appearance of the Royal Highnesses Emperor Franz Joseph and Empress Elisabeth in the Festive hall. The Royal couple and the Dance Formation “Viennese Waltz” were dancing the Emperor’s waltz and the Blue Danube waltz of Johann Strauss jr. - the guests experienced an evening the incomparable atmosphere of an Imperial ball chez Emperor Franz Joseph and Sissi.

On behalf of the US-Embassy in Vienna we styled the artistic program of this special evening. The US Marines, their families and the US ambassador Susan Rasinski McCaw were entertained by the sounds of the Band Lou in the Park Congress of Hilton Vienna.

Thanks to our successful artistic concept for the Roche gala dinner on February 11, 2006 in the Remise, our client has entrusted us again with the program concept for a special gala evening on Nov. 25, 2006. On the occasion of the 250th birthday of W.A. Mozart we presented our very successfull MOZART SHOW 2006 – The Magic of Amadeus, a 25 minute, first-rate program with the most beloved melodies from the famous operas: “The Magic Flute”, “The Marriage of Figaro” and “Don Giovanni”.

”The Magic of Amadeus” at Palais Daun-Kinsky:
The event organizer “à la baroque” from Dresden has charged us with shaping a gala in the style of the 18th century in Palais Daun-Kinsky. This small but very exquisite palace that is undoubtedly one of the pearls among the events palaces offered the background for an elegant evening with the music of the Herald Trumpets & the MOZART-SHOW 2006 - The Magic of Amadeus. In addition, our baroque Master of Ceremonies tastefully escorted the guests, all members of Sachsen Metall coming from Dresden through the evening.

Gala for BP-Austria in the Wiener Börsesäle:
During the pre-Christmas season for the fourth time in a row we arranged a representative, mood-setting gala in the Wiener Börsesäle – the banquet halls of the Vienna Stock Exchange - for our client BP-Austria. This traditional event was once again a welcome occasion for Hans Strassl, the dynamic general director of the corporation, to express his gratitude to his co-workers for their team effort throughout the year. The guest were entertained by the sounds of the marvellous looking Viennese Ladies orchestra Johann Strauss.

Capgemini Austria – an extraordinary Christmas celebration:
The Female Entertainer Susanne Marik offered the international guests a very special musical highlight. In her charming and distinctive manner the attractive artist presented an approx. 30-minute show segment with jazz standards and hits from both cinema and musicals from her varied repertoire. Hits from the film musical Cabaret as well as from diverse James Bond movies sounded from the stately Palais Coburg’s impressively renovated vaulted cellar outfitted with the finest audio and lighting engineering equipment. An appearance by Susanne Marik - a guarantor for a delighted audience and a more than satisfied customer.

Österreichische Post AG’s ”Enchanting” Christmas celebration in Palais Schwarzenberg with Magic Christian:
At the request of Dr. Anton Wais, General Director and Chairman of the Board of the Österreichische Post AG engaged Austria’s number one magician for the concern’s Christmas celebration. Magic Christian’s Fantastic Magic Shows were a successful highlight of a captivating evening in Palais Schwarzenberg. The Artist entertained the guests with numerous skillful magic tricks from his program Parlor Magic, a program particularly well suited to a middle-sized audience.

OPEC gala dinner in Palais Ferstel with the Dance Formation “Viennese Waltz”:
The OPEC Fund for International Development invited international guests to an exclusive gala dinner in the Festsaal of the Palais Ferstel. The well-received entertainment was provided by a Latino band and Prof. Gergely Szücs, the Greatest Primas with the Smallest Violin, internationally celebrated soloist and acclaimed musical phenomenon. In addition, with the Fächer Polonaise, the Blue Danube Waltz and the Fledermaus Quadrille, the Dance Formation “Viennese Waltz” imparted to the enthusiastic guests that Viennese feeling for life in 3/4 time and the elegant, lilting ball atmosphere for which Vienna is famous the world over.

Gala Christmas Dinner in the Vienna Hilton:
At the request of our business partner the Vienna Hilton, we planned the musical framework for a large gala dinner presented by Manessis Travel & Superior Travel. The gala was held in all of the banquet rooms of the first class hotel, situated near Stadtpark and newly renovated in 2004. The more than 1200 Greek guests enjoyed the delicious buffet prepared by chef of cuisine – the trio from the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss, the Band Strangers and Romantic Harp Sonorities set the mood for the evening.

The elegant and traditional Ferstel New Year’s Eve Gala:
This year once again, for the 8th time in a row, we assumed for Palais Events, our business associates of many years, the artistic planning of the New Year’s Eve Gala 2006 in the Palais Ferstel. The fabulous five-course New Year’s Eve menu from the kitchen of the chef de cuisine Martin Berger as well as the personal attention afforded the guests by the General manager of Palais Events Mr. Zeljko Posavec and his team, guaranteed a beautiful New Year’s Eve, meeting the standards of even most demanding. The Viennese Ladies orchestra Johann Strauss in beautiful Biedermeier costumes alternating with the Band Broadway and the emcee for the evening, Wolfgang Trojan, provided for lively music, the best entertainment and an exuberant mood.
