8th Regenbogenball ... Many Notables and an Exuberant Atmosphere:

For the seventh time in a row, the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency was responsible for the musical program of the, in the meantime famous, Viennese Regenbogenball in the Park Hotel Schönbrunn. The illustrious gaggle of ball guests was swept away by both the lilting waltzes of the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss as well as the international top hits of the Band A-Live. The diversified program was rounded out with the soul/rock midnight interlude of the british Popstar Marc Almond. Among the prominent ball guests: Christoph Matznetter - the representative of the Social democratic Party, the representative of the green party Ulrike Lunacek, councilwoman Renate Brauner and lots of other VIPs.

The Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna at the “Wien-Ball” 2005 in the Olympic City Athens:

The Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency received an exclusive invitation to shape the musical program of the “Wien-Ball” on Saturday, March 5, 2005. This annual event which has already enjoyed many years of success, grew out of a co-operation between AUA and the public relations department of the city of Vienna and counts among the social highlights of the Olympic City - prominent Greeks from the worlds of politics, culture and sports will rendezvous there to enjoy a night of the lilting waltz strains of Vienna.
The Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna under the paramount musical direction of Ruth Müller, entertained the guests with the much longed-for waltz strains of the Strauss dynasty and provided for high spirits among the dance-loving Greek guests. Thanks to dancing master Wolfgang Stanek, head of Vienna's largest dancing school and concomitant of long-standing of the Wien-Ball on all continents, the guests and the opening couple could be proud of an effective staging of the traditional, beloved ball opening. The presenter confirmed the great success of this year's "Wien-Ball" in Athens by inviting the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna to collaborate again next year.

Gala for the Top Ten Financial Network Partners in Schloss Weikersdorf bei Baden:

For our internationally active German client, we organized the evening’s entertainment at the European meeting of the management elite of the Top Ten Financial Network Partners in Schloss Weikersdorf bei Baden near Vienna. As All-round Artist, Reinmar Wolf, band-leader of the Band Broadway, provided for a relaxed atmosphere among the cheerful guests the whole evening long.

Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna in the Albertina:

Thanks to our successful artistic concept for the VIP gala dinner on May 2, 2004 in the Vienna Stock Exchange, ISIS Marketing Service GmbH entrusted us again this year with the program concept for a special gala evening on May 5, 2005. The stylish ambience of Vienna's Albertina offered the ideal framework for the appearance of Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna's quartet in its new Biedermeier costumes. Within the framework of a classical Viennese concert, the ensemble presented selected works of master composers W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Johann Strauss, jr. & Jacques Offenbach.


May 19 & June 22, 2005 /
Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss in the Vienna Hilton:
On behalf of the Hilton International Group and the world-wide gourmet association Confrerie de la chaine des Rotisseurs the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss appeared on two exclusive evenings in the Vienna Hilton am Stadtpark in realistic Biedermeier costumes. The international guests were pampered not only with selected culinary delicacies from the top-notch hotel kitchen but also by the Viennese sounds from the diverse repertoire of the ladies orchestra.

Huge gala in the imperial ambience of Schloss Schoenbrunn:

On behalf of our client Hemingway’s, we organized a fitting gala in the Grosse Galerie of Schloss Schoenbrunn. At the beginning of the evening, Romantic Harp Sonorities provided for mood-setting dinner rmusic. As musical highpoint we presented A Celebration chez Prinz Orlofsky for the guests during which the physicians from Denmark experienced a fabulous operetta show inspired by the famous Johann Strauss operetta "Die Fledermaus". The four vocal soloists for the evening, Violetta Kowal-soprano, Ulrike Pichler-Steffen-mezzosoprano, Wolfgang Gratschmaier-tenor & Klaus Kuttler-baritone, are all members of the Volksoper Ensemble. Following that was the appearance of the Dance Formation „Viennese Waltz“ to the strains of the „Blue Danube Waltz“. The Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss under the musical direction of Ruth Mueller provided for the sucessful musical framework of the entire show. The guests and Hemingway’s showed their appreciation for the artists with long applause and much praise.

jazz sounds with the Moodsart band in the Renaissance Penta Vienna Hotel:

Audiences are pricking up their ears at the Moodsart Band – in the Large Riding School of the Renaissance Penta Vienna Hotel in Ungargasse, the young Viennese musicians offered a represetative musical palette of their diverse abilities – the 70 managers from Germany enjoyed a range of songs spanning from Elton John and Miles Davis to Stevie Wonder & Al Jarreau. A particularly sucessful evening both for the guests as well as for our client BTI Event Solutions.

Tempo di Valse provides the music for the new Mercedes-Benz S-class
:
The Viennese Ladies Orchestra „Tempo di Valse“ was selected to provide the musical framework at four Austrian presentations of the new Mercedes S-class. With the luxury sedan, Mercedes ushers in a new generation in automotive technology. Technological innovations in the series make this top-model the standard in passenger vehicle development. Two major auto showrooms in Graz & Hall in Tyrol, the Salzburg Airport as well as the Design-Center Linz provided the framework for the four events –”Tempo di Valse’s” program included well-known classical composers such as Josef Haydn, Luigi Boccherini and W.A. Mozart.


Sept.8, 2005/
Celebrated Premiere of Nestroy’s „Eisenbahnheiraten“ in the Wiener Kammerspielen:
The Wiener Kammerspiele prepared for the first artistic highpoint of the 2005/2006 season with the premiere of Nestroy’s „Eisenbahnheiraten“ on Sept. 8, 2005. Director Christine Wipplinger presented this comedy of love, marriage and mistaken identity written in 1844 about three prospective couples torn between Vienna, Krems, Brno and Wiener Neustadt. The famous Nestroy puns and the top-class cast with Christian Futterknecht, Toni Slama, Peter Moucka and Kurt Sobotka, among others, guaranteed an evening of the very finest entertainment.

The music flowed from the tried-and-true pen of Michael Rüggeberg and underscores with great verve, originality and variety of sound, the character of the play. The time-tested organizational supervision of the musicians in the instrumental combination of piano, clarinet & trombone was provided for by the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency for the run of the production.

Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss at Ferstel Palace
:
On behalf of our long-standing client Palais Events the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss provided for diversified dinner music at the festive hall of the noble Ferstel Palace. The Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss in its elegant, true-to-the-original Biedermeier costumes pampered the international guests not only with exquisite dinner music but also surprised them with a special classical highlight: within the framework of a concert, the 4 ladies performed selected works of the master composers W.A. Mozart, Franz Schubert, Johannes Brahms & Jacques Offenbach.

Festive Gala for employees of OMV with Band Lou:
For the second time in a row, the Wolfgang Trojan Concert Agency was responsible for the musical program of the festive Gala for employees of OMV, one of Austria’s largest oil producing companies. With the best-loved tunes of Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Natalie Cole, Rod Stewart and Astrud Gilberto sound Band Lou provided for a relaxed atmosphere among the cheerful guests the whole afternoon long.

 

 

 


Nov 12, 2005/
Rococo Ensemble performed in the Palais Daun-Kinsky:
On this evening the Rococo Ensemble offered the sounds of the classics by Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven & Schubert in the splendid baroque ambience of the Palais Daun-Kinsky. In the audience international guests of the “Freiheitliche Akademie” who enjoyed a whole evening devoted to the Viennese musical tradition. On the program were musical highlights such as „A little nightmusic“ and famous opera melodies by W.A. Mozart and the „Viennese Dances“ by Franz Schubert.

 


Dec 1, 2005/
Gala for BP-Austria in the Wiener Börsesäle:
During the pre-Christmas season we arranged a representative, mood-setting gala in the Wiener Börsesäle – the banquet halls of the Vienna Stock Exchange - for our client BP-Austria. This traditional event was a welcome occasion for Hans Strassl, the dynamic general director of the corporation, to express his gratitude to his co-workers for their team effort throughout the year.

 

 


Dec 8 & Dec 10, 2005/
International Sixt Congress 2005 -
Opening Gala in the Vienna Hilton & Gala dinner at the KHM:
For the international clients and top management of the Sixt Group we prepared a rousing program for both the opening of the congress on Dec. 8, 2005 in the Vienna Hilton and the gala dinner on Dec. 10, 2005 in the KHM Vienna. Among the artistic highlights at the opening on Dec. 8, 2005 were the Imperial Court Ballet and Papageno & Papagena from our MOZART-SHOW 2006 – The Magic of Amadeus as well as the „real“ Johann Strauss and the „real“ Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
A further highlight from our Congress opening was the impressive appearance of our „royal couple“ in splendid, historically accurate costumes: Emperor Franz Joseph in red and white full dress and Sissi in her white star gown. Our client requested this segment, taken from our program Imperial Ball chez Emperor Franz Joseph and Sissi personally. The Herald Trumpets in renaissance costumes, Hussar cavalry in rococo costumes and the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna in biedermeier costumes as well as our three vocal soloists with the beloved Operetta Show provided for the effective staging of the gala dinner on Dec. 10, 2005. Entertaining the guests to the very end with Viennese waltzes, the Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna imparted the unforgettable atmosphere of a classical Viennese Ball.

Gala Christmas Dinner in the Vienna Hilton:
At the request of our business partner the Vienna Hilton, we planned the musical framework for a large gala dinner presented by Manessis Travel, Superior Travel und Eurotours. The gala was held in all of the banquet rooms of the first class hotel, situated near Stadtpark and newly renovated in 2004.The more than 900 Greek guests enjoyed the delicious buffet prepared by chef of cuisine Christian Haller - the trio from the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss and two groups from the Band Strangers set the mood for the evening.

 


December 31, 2005/
The elegant and traditional Ferstel New Yea’s Eve Gala:
This year once again, for the seventh time in a row, we assumed for Palais Events, our business associates of many years, the artistic planning of the New Year’s Eve Gala 2005 in the Palais Ferstel.  The fabulous five-course New Year’s Eve menu from the kitchen of the palace as well as the personal attention afforded the guests by the new General manager of Palais Events Mr. Zeljko Posavec and his team, guaranteed a beautiful New Year’s Eve, meeting the standards of even most demanding. The Johann Strauss Ensemble Vienna in beautiful Biedermeier costumes alternating with the Band Broadway and the emcee for the evening, Wolfgang Trojan, provided for lively music, the best entertainment and an exuberant mood.
