Discover, in three-quarter time, the Viennese zest for life - experience the
elegant and vivacious ball atmosphere, surprise your guests at your festive
dinner, gala or event with an extraordinarily tasteful show segment.
What awaits you at a performance of the Dance Formation "Viennese Waltz"?
In its approximately 20 minute show segment, the internationally known dance
troupe offers you a perfectly coordinated combination of the unique classical
Viennese Ball opening and the famous midnight Quadrille. The Formation presents
itself festively dressed, completely in the style of the world-renown Vienna
Opera Ball: the ladies in long, petal-white ball gowns, the men in elegant black
tails or tuxedos. The Formation appears in pairs, although the number of dance
pairs is completely dependent on your personal wishes or, as the case may be,
on the size of the available dance floor.
How can you set the stage for an appearance of Dance Formation "Viennese
Waltz" which will impress your guests?
At the beginning of the show segment you will experience the pair-wise entrance
of Dance Formation onto the festively lighted dance floor to the celebratory
tones of the polonaise. After the effective entrance, the dancers ably execute
the steps to the melody of the "Fledermaus-Quadrille" from the opera
of that name by Johann Strauss jr, and afterwards, waft over the parquet in
three-quarter time to the strains of the Blue Danube Waltz. At the end of the
show segment your guests will be invited personally by the dancers to join in
the waltz and experience first-hand the incomparable atmosphere of a classical
Viennese ball. Based on our many years of experience, we recommend the appearance
of the dancers after the main course or during dessert.
We will gladly organize for you the musical accompaniment to the show by the
Dance Formation "Viennese Waltz" with your choice of either an ensemble
or artist from our diverse selection. In order that you may reach your personal
decision, we invite you to click on Dinner/Viennese
& Classical Music as well as Dinner/International Popular Music
- there you will find selected ensembles for the musical accompaniment of the
Dance Formation such as, for example, the Viennese Ladies Orchestra Johann Strauss
or the Viennese Ladies Orchestra "Tempo di Valse" both of which are
considered to be particularly representative interpreters of the Viennese Waltz.
