The young ensemble Jazzetage has been attracting attention for several years – the four musicians have committed themselves with enthusiasm to classical jazz and competently offer you a perfect mix of world famous standards ranging from George Gershwin, Duke Ellington and Cole Porter to Frank Sinatra, Carlos Jobim and Chet Baker’s ballads. Successful appearances throughout Austria and regular participation at big events in the Hofburg and Parliament in Vienna, at the Open Air in Seefeld and at the Ars Electronica in the Designcenter in Linz are proof of the single-minded artistic motto of Jazzetage: “Our approach - we are driven by the love for music.”
The four professionals of Jazzetage, Gregor Siedl on saxophone, Julia Siedl on piano, Oliver Steger on bass and Harald Tanschek on percussion, perform for you in the classical jazz quartet combination. Three of the artists studied at the renowned Wiener Konservatorium, Harald Tanschek studied at the Musikhochschule Graz and at the Berkeley College of Music in Boston. For smaller events Jazzetage offers you the very tasteful duo option with Julia Siedl at the piano and her brother Gregor Siedl on saxophone.
